Cahall competes in Duke Invitational
Cahall competed in the 10,000 meter run where he took third place overall.
Cahall completed the 10,000 meter run in a time of 31:30.53 to set a new school record. Jason Parks previously held the school record with a time of 31:37.24. He set that time last season.
Matt Valeriani from the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill won the event after posting a time of 31:05.80. Mark List from Lake Superior came in second place following a time of 31:28.13.
Cahall was trying to set a national qualifying mark in the race, but he came up just short of the necessary time.
The Centre track and field teams will next compete in the Bellarmine Twilight on Friday, April 15 in Louisville, Ky.
